Middle East Map Game

A friend sent me this link:

http://www.rethinkingschools.org/just_fun/games/mapgame.html

At this site you are asked to match country names with their proper location on the map. This particular map is focused around the middle east. You drag a name and drop it over the outlined spot on the map. It will let you know immediately if you are incorrect. Then you can choose another name and drop it over its correct location. However, it does not give you a score at the end nor does it have a time limit.

Personally, I found the exercise quite humbling and repeated the game over and over until I felt I understood the geography by both name and by location. It was a good resource and will be using it in some of my classes.

Love this! I'll be using it with the kids...and I definitely can use the practice too!

Good. I'm glad you found it useful. Which reminds me I should go take it again to help retain what I learned.
